Dr. Ulf Berg

As a well connected and known entrepreneur and senior executive, Dr. Ulf Berg has joined the Board in 2022.

He earned a doctorate degree (PhD) in mechanical engineering from the University of Copenhagen and worked in different positions and countries for ABB. In addition, he is owner of ALVA Invest AG, his personal investment Holding company.

He has held management and board positions at ABB, Carlo Gavazzi, SIG, Sulzer, was a Member of the Swissmem Board Committee, Member of the Boards of Wicor AG, Bobst SA, and of other various international companies and was Chairman of EMS Chemie Holding AG. Since 16 years he is senior advisor to EQT. Currently, he is the Chairman of Bartec GmbH, Berlin Cures Holding AG and a Board Member of Climeworks AG, AM-Tec AG, 25Segments AG, Syz Capital AG, BLR Partners AG and Alva Invest AG.

He supports strategic alignment and market establishment with his long experience at Sulzer and EQT.
